History and beginning of Vamped Records 2007 to ???Some of Sash and Christiane info etc This husband and wife team got their start from working at clubs such as legendary Los Angeles club Scream ,White Trash, The Crypt, The Olympic ,Cathouse , and various others since the age of 16 and Sash was a homeless punk watching the dressing rooms of the bands and bouncing. Christiane danced for clubs and bands and did videos and movies and helped in bookings,promotions,tickets etc.. The both sang in various bands most notable: Roanoke, Manifold, StarletNite,Crimson Jewel. They both met at The Variety Arts Center in Los Angeles at a L A Weekly Aids Benefit in 87 . They started promoting/deejaying/playing rare videos their own club called Hot Pants at Mr.Ts Bowl in Los Angeles in the late 90's -early 2000's and booked there when the scene at that club was deaD after a few years booming as Fuzzyland before Jac Zinder the promoter died in a horrible accident.People came from all over the world and their were some legendary shows. The place were all memebers of The Breeders and the Pixies were attending and talking at the same time .Probably were Kim Deal and Frank Black saw each other for the first time in person in years. They also used to book a few shows at the Doll Hut mostly bringing bands to Orange County that normally wouldn't play there and the shows were great. bands like The Mormons,Kid Of Widney High,99th Fuck You , Tracy and the HindenBurgh Ground Crew ,Menthol Hill, Biblical Proof of UFOS,NostraDumAss,The Dagons,The Phantom Limbs ,The Melting Pot festival and the return of the Breeders in 2001 .Hell we had PJ Harvey drive up in a limo and Frank Black and Joey Santiago of the Pixies in attendance at the same time at Mr Ts Bowl. .SEE LINKS BELOW.
